We are pleased with the overall look and feel of the fLEXSIPSOT E1. The black desk has a nice matte finish but it’s rather smooth. The desk is made of laminate particle board or an MDF material. But it’s nice and thick so you wouldn’t worry if it can support a couple of monitors. And the surface doesn’t easily scratch. The frame of the desk is a bit heavy, therefore it’s sturdy.
As for the assembly, we were able to put this together relatively fast. There aren’t many pieces so it will only take you less than an hour for the setup. It’s actually intuitive as you might not need to depend on the instruction manual.
Well, that’s a good thing because the manual isn’t easy to understand. The diagrams are a little bit confusing and it feels like it was in reverse. But trust us, even if the manual could have been better, you’d still be able to assemble it pretty easily.
One of the challenges, however, is that some of the pre-set drill holes in the diagram cannot be located on the unit itself. And some holes are also misaligned. So must drill holes yourself. And since the desk and frame have a substantial weight, you might need to ask for help to assemble it. Unless you’re a heavy lifter yourself, then you’re all good.
We also love how it was packaged neatly. The frame and the desk were packaged separately, so that’s a plus. This prevents scratches and dents.
This desk is pretty easy to use. The controls are simple, it’s an up and down arrow button and a preset number 1,2, and 3. It also transitions fast. We can easily go from sitting to standing position in a matter of seconds. And we also love that the desk was able to store my preset desk height even if we wasn’t able to keep the desk plugged in for the entire day. That’ll also sav me on utility bills.
Overall, this desk can give you a premium feel without the premium price. And the height adjustment range is pretty good too. It can accommodate a lot of users unless you’re really tall then you might need something else.

The 60inch table top of the Eureka standing desk is pretty generous. I’d say that if you have an elaborate workstation, you’d appreciate Eureka’s extra roomy desktop. This rectangular desk can accommodate 2-3 monitors, a laptop, and several office supplies.
This is the only size the brand offers for a manually adjusted desk, and it’s a pretty large one. we am impressed that it’s brimming with convenient features, despite being a manually adjusted desk.
It’s a great entry-level standing desk. Though it’s not the most durable brand, it has almost all the features that you might want in a manual standing desk. And not all entry-level standing desks can offer that convenience. It can also go lower than other desks, so shorter people will find it comfortable.
One of my favorites is the dual cable management system. The desk is equipped with a cable management system on both the left and right sides. The manufacturer assumed that you’ be using it for more than two monitors. Well yeah, that’s the use of a larger desktop right? And it’s impressive how the brand was able to take into consideration your usage habits.
It also offers a decent height adjustment range from 24-32 inches. Though it’s not too stingy, users who are taller than 6 feet might not find this table that comfortable. So it’s more for those who have average height.
As for the shipping, it came in two parts. So you have to connect the two sides together. This is where it can look a bit awkward. You might be irritated with the connect line that’s quite visible on top of the desk. To resolve this, you can place a mat at the center. Though we don’t find that this affected the sturdiness and stability of the desk. But for some, it might not look aesthetically pleasing.
One feature that you might be missing is a hand crank So how are you to adjust the desk? The legs of the desk have locking screws that connect the desks at the desired height. So the disadvantage is, you won’t be able to frequently change the height setting of the deks. Unless it’s okay for you to pack up all your things every time you need to change the height settings. Albeit the two separated sides, it feels pretty solid and stable. And that’s the biggest selling point of this standing desk.
So it’s for you if you’re looking for an affordable, large, and solid entry-level standing desk. But since it can be tedious to adjust, it might not be for you if you need to change the desk height often.

This hand crank adjustable desk is sturdy and solid. Albeit it’s a manual adjustment, it has a lot going for it.
The DEVAISE desk is durable and it’s really spacious. It has a substantial weight and some users find the desk too heavy for one man to carry. But for me, that speaks a lot about how durable the desk is. I’d take a heavy desk at any time of the day compared to a lightweight one. It’s stable and feels very supportive too.
It’s very easy to assemble since it doesn’t have any electric coats. But we didn’t feel that the quality was compromised. The hand crank is also easy to use. It won’t feel like an arm workout whenever you adjust the desk. And it can be positioned on either side of the table. The instructions came in pictures instead of words. But it’s clear and straightforward. And anybody will find it easy to understand. It comes with the things you’ll need for mounting such as the bolts and an Allen wrench, and you pretty much don’t need any tools to set it up.
As for the shipping, it was comprehensively packed, if we may say. Apart from the cardboard, the entire unit is covered with foam. The manufacturer made sure that the desk won’t get damaged while in transit.
